1997 the "C+W Engineering Company" was founded by Sönke Carstens und Christian Wobbe.
The prior aim of the business was the development and production of pneumatic vibration isolators for sensitive equipment and machines.
As a consequence of the uncertainness of many customers handling vibration problems, "C + W" decided to add consulting to their business.
The customised design of the air-springs and systems led to their integration in customer devices.
This was the beginning of "C+W&acent;s" - special machine production which ranges from design to final assembly of prototypes or small series.
On 01.01.2002 the partnership was transformed into the cplusw GmbH.
Management and shareholder relationship have not been affected by this transition to a "LTD."
Today the cplusw GmbH spectrum covers all activities mentioned above plus active control of vibration with analog and digital concepts.
We realise system analyses and feasibility checks.
We design and build vibration-isolating measuring foundations with a dead weight of several tons, for which we use our own products or products from different manufacturers if that is more efficient for the customer's benefit.
